Jinny was one of the performing artists that helped make Cirque du Soleil an international sensation. From 1990 to 2010 she toured the world as a featured performer in contortion and gymnastics, often performing before royalty and heads of state. She has been a coach, consultant, and teacher with ENC since 2002, currently mentoring international coaches in ENC's online mentorship program.
Jinny focuses on the human body as a whole, including:
- all aspects of its unity with the brain;
- patterns where we unconsciously hold tension;
- specific body parts where awareness is not yet awakened, or has been forgotten... or just needs a little energy boost.
She is committed to teaching students and trainers how to work free of pain and attuned to the breath, and how to achieve full body resonance and maintain this resonance in every moment of a performance.

Solstrom
Another clip of Quebec's own, Jinny Jacinto performing in the early 2000s hit "Solstrom" by Cirque du Soleil. Seeing as we've explored Jacinto's roots, let's focus a bit on her style. Jacinto's unique movement can be recognized from a distance, characterized by almost never lingering too long in a handstand, and by her very deliberate pauses outside of traditional poses, often just slightly 'out of position' which brings a refreshing touch of asymmetry to her act. Jacinto is an artistic contortionist beyond all else, and this doll-come-to-life routine in Wind of Life is pure Jacinto! https://youtu.be/wNhEQStRJ6A?si=2RvtAYOwTnJ_osBb
