Summer Camps

Kids perform in an artistic ensemble while learning the fundamentals of circus arts!

In these fun-filled, action packed weeks, students will learn the building blocks of circus with disciplines that include: Aerials (Silks, Trapeze, Lyra) Partner Acrobatics, Tumbling, Juggling, Clowning, and more. Circus helps build a foundation for strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, focus, posture, teamwork, and determination.

This exciting and enriching program is designed to nurture each student’s confidence and foster self-discipline. We provide a supportive and safe environment that encourages students to have the confidence to try new things and to believe in their own abilities. They will have fun both on the ground and in the air, while they become more comfortable expressing who they are.

Young people who try the circus learn not only to strengthen their physical bodies and minds, but also to build lasting friendships. Our faculty have performed with Cirque du Soleil, Cirque de la Mer at Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, just to name a few. Each circus week culminates in a brief showing on the last Friday to display what we have worked on!

Take one week, or take them all!

If one of our sessions does not reach our minimum enrollment, we hold the right to cancel that session at a full refund. We will let you know fourteen days in advance of any cancellations. We do not foresee this happening because we have sold out every session over the years.

A parent who withdraws their child from Camp fourteen or more days before the start of camp will receive a full refund less a $50 CANCELLATION FEE.

You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel less than 14 days before the start of Camp less a $50 CANCELLATION FEE.

No refunds are available once Camp has started*. At your request, we will convert your unused Camp registration fees into a tax-deductible donation to San Diego Circus Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, to be used for our special needs programs.

By the end of our scheduled camp times, our instructors have worked a full, long day, and it is time for them to clock out and go home. We therefore strictly enforce the following policy: for every 5 minutes that each child remains in our care after end of camp, we charge a $10 late pickup fee.

*Cancellations due to sickness or injury require a doctor’s note from a medical MD (if you are a doctor, you may not write your own note), within 30 days of the incident, for refund or make-up authorization.
